Hootie & the Blowfish coming to Charlotte, Raleigh, and Columbia to celebrate 30 years of ‘Cracked Rear View’

Popular ’90s roots rock band Hootie & the Blowfish, who got their start in Columbia at the University of South Carolina, have announced a massive 2024 tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Cracked Rear View.

The two-time Diamond-certified album is one of the highest-selling rock records of all time, and the group consisting of Darius Rucker, Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, Jim “Soni” Sonefeld will reunite for their first official tour since 2019.

The Summer Camp with Trucks Tour will make stops in Charlotte on September 19 (PNC Music Pavilion), Raleigh on September 13 (Coastal Credit Union Music Park), and a homecoming show in Columbia, South Carolina on August 29 (Colonial Life Arena) with special guests Collective Soul and Edwin McCain for all dates.

Hootie & the Blowfish last performed in North Carolina for a Carolina Hurricanes pre-party concert at PNC Arena ahead of the team’s first outdoor NHL game in February and previously Charlotte in 2019.

A special fan presale will start Tuesday, November 7 at 10 a.m. and tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, November 10 at 10 a.m.
