The NBA announced the Charlotte Hornets vs. Los Angeles Lakers game on Friday, January 28 at Spectrum Center will now start at 7:30 p.m., moving from its original time of 7:00 p.m. In addition, the game will now be nationally televised on ESPN.
The game will mark the fifth game on national television this season after the Hornets beat the Celtics on ESPN on January 19. It also marks the most nationally televised games for the franchise since returning to Charlotte, according to Rod Boone of The Charlotte Observer.
#Hornets game next Friday against the Lakers will now be broadcast on @espn and the game time has changed to 7:30 p.m. It will mark the Hornets fifth national TV broadcast of season. That’s already the most national TV games in a season since the team returned to Charlotte.
