Following the release of his seventh studio album The Fall-Off — which topped the Billboard charts — NC’s own J. Cole has announced a world tour kicking off in Charlotte at Spectrum Center on Saturday, July 11. The album marks Cole’s seventh No. 1 release (and possibly his last), produced by T-Minus with contributions from The Alchemist, Beat Butcha, Boi-1da, and FnZ, and featuring appearances by Burna Boy, Tems, Erykah Badu, Future, Morray, and Petey Pablo.
The U.S. leg of the tour will culminate in Cole’s hometown of Fayetteville on September 23 at Crown Coliseum. On the day the album was released, he launched a Trunk Sale Tour in Fayetteville, appearing at a downtown listening event before making stops in Chapel Hill, Greensboro, and Charlotte — traveling in the same Honda Civic he drove early in his career while selling CDs out of the trunk.
Cole last performed in Charlotte during halftime of the NBA All-Star Game at Spectrum Center in 2019. Prior to that, he appeared in 2017 for his 4 Your Eyez Only Tour, with openers Anderson .Paak, Bas, Ari Lennox, and J.I.D.
Update: Due to high demand, J. Cole has added a second show in Charlotte on Friday, July 10.
Presale begins Tuesday, February 17 at 11 a.m., with tickets going on sale to the public Friday, February 20 at 11 a.m.
