With one simple post right after 12:00 a.m. on December 4, Jay-Z’s entire music catalog is now on Spotify. Shawn Carter, who turns 50 years old today, acquired the streaming service Tidal in January of 2015, and has had most of his music stripped from Spotify since April of 2017.

With Tidal seemingly gaining market share in recent months, it’s unclear what caused the change of heart, but regardless, millions of Hov fans will surely be blaring some of his music this week.
