Atlanta rapper J.I.D has announced a U.S. tour, making two stops in North Carolina: November 30 in Charlotte at The Fillmore and December 1 in Raleigh at The Ritz. J.I.D, who released his fourth studio album, God Does Like Ugly, through Dreamville and Interscope on August 8, is a regional favorite, hailing from the South and performing at Dreamville Fest all five years. He has also performed in Charlotte on tour with 21 Savage in 2024 and with Smino in 2023.

J.I.D’s new album follows 2022’s critically acclaimed The Forever Story, featuring guest appearances by Westside Gunn, Clipse, Vince Staples, Ciara, EarthGang, Don Toliver, Ty Dolla Sign, 6lack, Jessie Reyez, Mereba, and Pastor Troy, with production by Thundercat, Boi-1da, Lex Luger, Jay Versace, and more.

He’ll be joined by fellow Atlanta rapper Young Nudy — who also released his new album, Paradise, in August — for all dates, with frequent Rapsody collaborator Niko Brim and Kai Ka$h opening the North Carolina shows.

Artist presale begins Wednesday, August 20, at 10 a.m. (download the J.I.D app for access to the presale code).
