Hornets rookie LaMelo Ball has been keeping the city buzzin’ throughout the NBA community with his dazzling passes this season. Since his arrival in Charlotte, Ball has captivated his massive social media audience, and several basketball-related media companies have been sharing his highlights seemingly every game.
One of the most impressive highlight reels thus far has been a video created by Dunk Comp, a basketball-focused apparel and video company. The video pieces together Ball’s best highlights of the year to the backdrop of the Madlib-produced track, “The Buzz” by M.E.D. and Blu featuring Mayer Hawthorne.
From the 2015 M.E.D., Blu and Madlib collaborative album Bad Neighbor, “The Buzz” uses a classic soul sample that complements Ball’s effortlessly smooth passing skills. From his signature behind-the-back passes to full-court dishes and floating lobs to Miles Bridges, it’s all there.
