Comedian Martin Lawrence has announced his first national headlining comedy tour since 2016, and he’ll make stops in Raleigh (Friday, September 6 at PNC Arena) and Columbia (Saturday, September 7 at Colonial Life Arena). Best known for his ’90s comedy sitcom, Martin, the comedian and actor will tour across the country following the release of Bad Boys: Ride or Die on June 7.

The Y’all Know What It Is! tour will hit 40 cities across the U.S. through April 2025 with Adele Givens, B. Simone, Chico Bean, DC Youngfly, Deon Cole, Desi Banks, Gary Owen, Jess Hilarious, Mojo Brookzz, Ms. Pat, and Rickey Smiley on select dates. The Raleigh and Columbia shows will feature comedians Deon Cole and Benji Brown as opening acts.

Getting his breakthrough acting role in Spike Lee’s classic 1989 film, Do The Right Thing!, Lawrence also hosted the groundbreaking HBO series, Def Comedy Jam, in the early ’90s. After the success of Martin, he went on to star in a string of blockbuster films including Life, Big Momma’s House, and the Bad Boys franchise opposite Will Smith.

The original cast members of Martin, including Tisha Campbell, Carl Anthony Payne and Tichina Arnold recently reunited with Lawrence at the 75th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards in January for a special segment, presenting the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

Pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, May 15 (code: MARTYMAR) with tickets going on sale to the public for all dates starting Friday, May 17 at 10 a.m. (local time).
