Back in November, MerleFest, the Wilkesboro, North Carolina music festival founded in 1988 by guitarist Doc Watson, announced Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss would headline the 2020 edition. Today, the festival announced they will be adding Grammy award-winning rocker Melissa Etheridge, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, and North Carolina’s own, The Marcus King Band.
The lineup announcement adds five great artists to the already impressive lineup which includes Willie Nelson & Family, Alison Krauss, John Prine, The Jerry Douglas Band, Sam Bush, Billy Strings, Jim Lauderdale, Kruger Brothers, The Waybacks, Scythian, Donna the Buffalo, and many more.
