Back in December, ESPN released the extended trailer for The Last Dance, a 10-part documentary chronicling Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls dynasty with never-before-seen footage, and over 100 interviews with basketball’s biggest names. Featuring Phil Jackson, Scottie Pippen, Steve Kerr, Dennis Rodman, Pat Riley, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, and Jordan himself, the trailer caught the attention of basketball fans across the world.
Earlier this month, rumors circulated about the series being released early amid the coronavirus crisis. Today, ESPN announced the documentary will indeed be released on Sunday, April 19.
