With the MLS All-Star Game in Charlotte fast approaching, the roster for the 30th edition of the showcase has been revealed, featuring three Charlotte FC players: Ashley Westwood, Pep Biel, and Tim Ream. Westwood and Biel will make their first All-Star appearances after being selected by Charlotte FC Head Coach Dean Smith, who will manage the MLS All-Star squad. USMNT captain and Charlotte FC defender Tim Ream was voted into the team, earning his second All-Star selection 15 years after his first appearance in 2011.

The 2026 MLS All-Star Game marks the first time Charlotte FC players will participate in the annual showcase. Patrick Agyemang was previously selected as a 2025 commissioner’s pick, but he transferred to EFL Championship side Derby County before the match and did not appear.
The roster features several players who starred during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including Sebastian Berhalter, Petar Musa, and Richie Laryea, along with standout MLS performers Evander, Thomas Müller, and Sam Surridge.
MLS All-Star Week will feature multiple events leading up to the main event, including a fan fest at Romare Bearden Park on July 25-26 that, in past years, has featured performances by Grouplove, Marshmello, PinkPantheress, Kehlani, DJ Pee .Wee (Anderson .Paak), Khalid, Miloe, Kaytranada, and Big Boi.
The competitions include the MLS NEXT All-Star Game at Matthews Sportsplex on Monday, July 27, MLS All-Star Skills Challenge on Tuesday, July 28 at Truist Field, and the MLS All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 29 at Bank of America Stadium.
The MLS All-Stars will face the LIGA MX All-Stars for the fifth time in league history, continuing a matchup that has become the league’s most frequent All-Star format outside of the former East vs. West showcase.
