MLS All-Star Week in Charlotte kicks off this weekend with a free two-day MLS All-Star Soccer Celebration festival at Romare Bearden Park. The event will feature several interactive fan experiences, appearances from USMNT legends Clint Dempsey, Landon Donovan, and Cobi Jones, Charlotte FC players Ashley Westwood, Pep Biel, Tim Ream, and Brandt Bronico, plus a free concert headlined by Natasha Bedingfield.
The family-friendly event will run Saturday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., transforming Uptown into a soccer hub for fans ahead of the 2026 MLS All-Star Game next week.
Interactive activations include Caterpillar soccer challenges; The Home Depot’s Backyard FC penalty kick challenge, live drumline performances, and a Charlotte FC watch party (vs. New York Red Bulls on Saturday); Coca-Cola’s Beats, Cleats and Eats experience with complimentary refreshments and Cook Out ice cream floats; DoorDash’s face painting, tote bag customization, and mocktail bar; Audi test drives and photo opportunities; Discount Tire’s world-record photo mosaic attempt; Continental Tire’s supporter scarf giveaway and interactive drum; Michelob ULTRA’s fan lounge; CELSIUS product samples; Campbell Snacks tastings; plus additional giveaways, games, and photo opportunities.
Grammy-nominated British-New Zealand pop star Natasha Bedingfield, best known for her hits “Unwritten” (theme song for MTV’s ‘The Hills’), “Pocketful of Sunshine,” and “These Words,” will headline the celebration with a free performance Saturday night at 9 p.m.
The MLS All-Star competitions start next week with the MLS NEXT All-Star Game at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex on Monday, July 27; MLS All-Star Skills Challenge at Truist Field on Tuesday, July 28; and the MLS All-Star Game at The Bank on Wednesday, July 29.
