It’s been over five years since Parks and Recreation ended but, NBC has announced the political satire sitcom that aired for seven seasons will return for a one-off episode on Thursday, April 30.

The episode, written by co-creator Mike Schur will focus on Leslie Knope’s determination to stay connected with her friends in a time of social distancing. The 30-minute installment will see the entire cast reunited, including Amy Poehler, Aziz Ansaru, Nick Offerman, Rashida Jones, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, and more.

“Like a lot of other people, we were looking for ways to help and felt that bringing these characters back for a night could raise some money,” Schur said in a statement. “I sent a hopeful email to the cast and they all got back to me within 45 minutes. Our old Parks and Rec team has put together one more 30-minute slice of (quarantined) Pawnee life and we hope everyone enjoys it. And donates!”

The one-time special reunion show will also be raising money for Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund with NBC and the cast members pledging $500,000 in matching donations.
