Back on September 7, when the world was normal, standup comedian Patton Oswalt played two shows at Knight Theater in Charlotte. The two sets were recorded for Oswalt’s third Netflix comedy special I Love Everything, his highly-anticipated follow-up to 2017’s Annihilation. In the special, Oswalt fully embraces his 50s indulging the audience with stories about how his daughter’s art show costing him the chance to board a full-scale Millennium Falcon, breakfast cereals, buying a house, and a hilarious diatribe about Denny’s. He also graciously thanks Charlotte in the beginning and end of his performance.
The one-hour special I Love Everything was released on May 19 and also includes a bonus set by comedian Bob Rubin, who he introduces on stage at Knight Theater with a lively Charlotte crowd in the background for an epic final shot.
Patton Oswalt: I Love Everything is now available to stream on Netflix.
