Charlotte’s Erick Lottary and Cyanca released a sultry and seductive song, “Replay” last week. The track, produced by Smwhereat4am has a mind-bending rhythm that showcases Cyanca’s glistening vocals on the hook and Lottary’s signature rap-singing style, creating a hypnotic appeal. On repeat for many, the song has compiled over 21,000 streams in its first week.
The music video, directed by Brandon Torres and edited by Lottary was shot at Charlotte’s immersive interactive art museum, Portal, matching the spaced-out vibe of the song. The visuals smoothly maneuver through the various rooms created by artists HNin Nie, Jill Seale, Jason Woodberry and Marcus Kiser, showcasing the intricate and mesmerizing art spaces.
