Red Hot Chili Peppers coming to Charlotte with The Strokes and Thundercat in 2022!

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced a 32-city international stadium tour coming to Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium on September 1 with New York rockers The Strokes and the prolific Grammy Award-winning bassist, Thundercat. The tour will kick off in June at Estadio La Cartuja in Seville, Spain and then arrive in the states starting July 23 in Denver, Colorado before hitting Charlotte in September.



The tour will also mark the return of guitarist John Frusciante to the group, as well as the band’s first ever stadium tour in the U.S., performing their career-spanning hits along with new music from their forthcoming album, according to the press release. The Chili Peppers will also be joined by A$AP Rocky, Beck, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, HAIM, St. Vincent, and King Princess in select cities. The band released a video with the tour announcement.

Presale begins October 9 at 10 a.m. (local time) and runs through October 14 at 10 p.m. at RedHotChiliPeppers.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Friday, October 15 at 10 a.m. local time.
