Robert Glasper, the prolific pianist, producer, and arranger best known for his Black Radio album series — seamlessly fusing jazz, R&B, hip-hop, and neo-soul — will perform at Charlotte’s Carolina Theatre presented by Sol Kitchen on Sunday, March 1.
Glasper is coming off a busy 2025, releasing two new albums: Code Derivation and Keys to the City Volume One, featuring collaborations with Black Thought, Thundercat, Norah Jones, Yebba, Meshell Ndegeocello, Esperanza Spalding, and Bilal.
A five-time Grammy Award winner, most recently earning Best R&B Album for his 2023 release Black Radio III, Glasper returns to Charlotte for the first time since 2022.
In addition to his acclaimed work as a bandleader and collaborator with some of the most influential artists in modern jazz, R&B, and hip-hop, Glasper joined Kamasi Washington, Terrace Martin, and North Carolina’s own 9th Wonder in 2020 to form the supergroup Dinner Party, releasing their self-titled debut that same year.
Presale for Robert Glasper’s Charlotte show begins Tuesday, November 18 at 10 a.m. for Carolina Theatre members, with tickets going on sale to the public Wednesday, November 19 at 10 a.m.
