Independent hip-hop rap duo Run The Jewels will be performing in Charlotte for the first time ever on March 14 at the Fillmore. Run The Jewels have been full of surprises recently with the release of their RTJ3 album on Christmas Eve and now a show in Charlotte presented by Pitchfork, kicking off their new beer culture website “October” in partnership with Interboro Spirits and Ales. The Brooklyn brewery run by former Def Jux manager Jesse Ferguson will be releasing a special “Stay Gold” IPA with citra and mosaic hops on March 14.

Run The Jewels consisting of Atlanta rapper Killer Mike and producer/rapper El-P have been taking the music world by storm since their debut album Run The Jewels was released in 2013 as a free download. Since then, the duo has released two more hugely successful underground albums, have played a multitude of music festivals, and collaborated with artists like Zack de la Rocha, Big Boi, Danny Brown, Kamasi Washington and many more.

The Stay G-O-L-D beer will be premiered at Terminal 5 in New York City on February 25 and in Charlotte, North Carolina, on March 14 at the ‘October‘ Kickoff Party. Check out the can design recently released.
