Shaky Knees, the popular annual Atlanta rock festival, will return in 2025 with what may be one of its most impressive lineups to date. The festival, founded by promoter Tim Sweetwood in 2013, announced in November that the event would move to September, returning to the grassy and much larger 200-acre Piedmont Park in Midtown.

This year’s festival, taking place September 19-21, will be heavy on nostalgia, with nu-metal pioneers Deftones, pop-punk legends Blink-182, and emo rock icons My Chemical Romance headlining. The eclectic, mostly rock-leaning lineup spans multiple subgenres and will also feature Grammy Award-winning rock star Lenny Kravitz, revered political rap group Public Enemy, Ezra Koenig-fronted indie pop/rock band Vampire Weekend, and the recently reunited Alabama Shakes, led by the incomparable Brittany Howard.

Other notable acts include British post-punk band Idles, alternative rockers Cage the Elephant, new wave pioneers Devo, Tuareg desert blues rock outfit Mdou Moctar, Scottish post-punk revivalists Franz Ferdinand, Richmond-based indie folk-rock singer-songwriter Lucy Dacus, and a rare festival appearance by comedic parody legend “Weird Al” Yankovic.

Known as one of the premier rock festivals in the country, Shaky Knees showcases a diverse mix of indie artists, rising talents, and internationally touring bands, along with late-night shows in downtown Atlanta.

Presale passes go on sale Thursday, February 27, at 10 a.m., with three-day general admission passes starting at $310.
