Spike Lee’s classic film ‘Do The Right Thing’ will be re-released in select theaters

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Spike Lee’s 1989 classic film, Do The Right Thing, Universal Pictures and the Criterion Collection will re-release the film on June 30 at select AMC, Regal Cinemas, Cinemark, and Alamo Drafthouse theaters.

Improving on the Spike Lee 1989 masterpiece with a 4K restoration, there will also be original 35mm screenings in NYC, Chicago, Los Angeles, Austin, and Brookline, MA. A “director approved” Blu-ray/DVD edition of the 4K restoration is also set to be released on July 23.

Do The Right Thing is now playing at Regal Cinemas at Piper Glen June 28 – July 3 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. (Updated)
