Following their epic three-day weekend at Durham Athletic Park in May, North Carolina electro-pop duo Sylvan Esso has announced their second Psychic Hotline Block Party on October 15 at Cat’s Cradle. The event will feature performances by Bartees Strange, Indigo de Souza (DJ Set), Loamlands, Hand Habits; vocalist, composer, and producer Arooj Aftab, and many more. The Psychic Hotline Block Party, named after the record label created and operated by Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn of Sylvan Esso will also feature a pop-up shop and record fair utilizing Cat’s Cradle’s Back Room and The ArtsCenter.
Sylvan Esso also recently announced the release of their fourth studio album, No Rules Sandy, set to be released on August 12 through Loma Vista.
Update (9/29): WELL$, Truth Club, and a special experimental set from TJ Maiani, Nick Sanborn, and Joe Westerlund have been added to the lineup.
Tickets for the Psychic Hotline Block Party on October 15 at Cat’s Cradle are now on sale.
