Tenacious D, the comedy rock duo consisting of Jack Black and Kyle Glass have announced a tour focusing on swing states ahead of the 2020 elections. The tour will partner with 46 for 46 to promote voter registration and civic action through music coming to Wilson Center Wilmington, NC on October 1.
“In 2016, six states were decided by 2 percentage points or less, and ten states were decided by 4 percentage points or less. Swing states played a pivotal role in the outcome of that election, and they will again in 2020,” the band communicated through a press release.
Tenacious D also recently announced they will be adding the final piece to their Post-Apocalypto universe: The Graphic Novel, out this September.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 6, at 10 a.m. Check out the full 2020 tour schedule here.
