After more than 50 years of touring, the Eagles have announced their final tour, and will play Charlotte on November 7 at Spectrum Center and Raleigh on November 9 at PNC Arena with Steely Dan. Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill, and Deacon Frey will “perform as many shows in each market as their audience demands,” according to the press release, and the tour is expected to continue into 2025. Charlotte is one of the first thirteen shows announced with many more dates set to be revealed for the tour that will begin on September 7, 2023 in New York.

“We want to give all our fans a chance to see us on this final round. So, scheduling information will be released as dates are set. The difficulties of booking venues for multiple nights may require us to return to certain cities, depending on demand. But, we hope to see as many of you as we can, before we finish up,” the band communicated in the official press release.

Formed in 1971, the Eagles, who were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, have sold more than 150 million albums worldwide and have earned six No. 1 albums and just as many Grammy Awards. The band’s Greatest Hits 1971-1977 release is one of the best-selling albums in history and their fifth studio album, Hotel California, is certified 26-times platinum in the US, selling over 32 million copies worldwide.

The Eagles will be joined by fellow Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Steely Dan, led by singer-songwriter and keyboardist, Donald Fagen.

Pre-sale tickets (code: LEGEND) will be available starting Wednesday, July 12 at 10 a.m., and general on-sale will start Friday, July 14 at 10 a.m.
