Wes Anderson releases trailer for ‘The French Dispatch’ due out this summer

Wes Anderson’s follow-up to 2018’s Isle of Dogs, is a story about a foreign outpost of an American newspaper; the stories from the paper’s final issue, and the quirky editorial staff. The French Dispatch, co-written by Jason Schwartzman, Roman Coppola, and Hugo Guinness, is expected out this summer and the first official trailer has been released.

Featuring a stellar cast that includes Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, Benicio del Toro, Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, Edward Norton, Jason Schwartzman, Henry Winkler, Anjelica Huston, and many others, the film will also be scored by Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Shape of Water).

Watch the official trailer for The French Dispatch due out in theaters on July 24.
