The iconic Staten Island, New York rap collective Wu-Tang Clan will embark on their final tour this summer with Run the Jewels. Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber will hit 27 arenas and amphitheaters, including Raleigh’s Lenovo Center on June 7.

The tour will feature all of the surviving original members: RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and Cappadonna, with Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s son, Young Dirty Bastard, also performing.

“This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture,” RZA said in a statement. “On this tour, we’re playing songs we’ve never played before for our audience, and me and our production team have designed a Wu-Tang show unlike anything you’ve ever seen.”

Wu-Tang Clan’s debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), released in 1993, is widely regarded as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time. The group became a cultural phenomenon, influencing countless artists and contributing to the global fandom of hip-hop. Their 1997 album, Wu-Tang Forever, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, and the song “Triumph” earned the group their first Grammy in 1998 for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.

Individually, as solo artists, they have also earned significant accolades and praise throughout the years, with classic albums such as Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx (1995), Method Man’s Tical (1994), Ghostface Killah’s Iron Man (1996) and Supreme Clientele (2000), GZA’s Liquid Swords (1995), and RZA’s Bobby Digital (1998).

Wu-Tang last performed in North Carolina on the NY State of Mind tour with Nas in 2022, and Run the Jewels also performed that same year, opening for Rage Against the Machine in Raleigh.

Tickets for the Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber tour will go on sale Friday, February 28 at 10 a.m.
