Atlanta rapper/singer 6LACK will hit the road this year for his first headlining tour since 2023, following the release of his fourth studio album, Love Is the New Gangsta, on May 22. The tour includes two North Carolina stops in Charlotte on Saturday, November 21 at The Fillmore and Raleigh on Sunday, November 22 at The Ritz.

The alternative R&B artist, best known for tracks like “PRBLMS” and “Switch,” along with standout collaborations including “Pretty Little Fears” featuring J. Cole, “OTW” featuring Ty Dolla Sign, and “I Want You Around” with Snoh Aalegra, will return to North Carolina for the first time since his Since I Have a Lover Tour. The dates will celebrate nearly a decade since the release of his debut album Free 6LACK in November 2016.

Love Is the New Gangsta leans into 6LACK’s signature mellow, atmospheric R&B foundation while introducing warmer, more reflective, and vulnerable themes centered on growth, healing, love, and emotional maturity. Sonically, the album stays close to his core style, blending sparse drums, ambient synths, and late-night introspective production that sits between R&B and hip-hop.

The album features appearances from Leon Thomas, Mereba, Odeal, Young Thug, 2 Chainz, AZ Chike, and QUIN, with major production contributions from Childish Major alongside longtime collaborator Fwdslxsh.

Joining 6LACK on tour will be Johnny Venus of EarthGang and rapper/producer Eem Triplin, for the Charlotte and Raleigh dates.

Citi cardmembers will have the first opportunity to access presale tickets beginning Wednesday, May 27 at 10 a.m. with tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, May 29 at 12 p.m.
