New Year’s Eve shows have been a longstanding tradition for the Concord-based Avett Brothers. For the 17th year, the folk rock outfit led by Scott and Seth Avett– usually accustomed to selling out coliseums and arenas in recent years– will be ringing in the new year with a special livestream concert.

With two successful drive-in concerts at Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2020 and the release of their latest EP, The Third Gleam, this year’s festivities will include some very special guest performances and appearances. Since December 14, the band has been revealing the lineup, and it’s impressive. Norah Jones, Willie Nelson, Brandi Carlile, Ben Bridwell (Band of Horses), Taylor Goldsmith (Dawes), Mandolin Orange, G. Love, Langhorne Slim, Nicole Atkins, and more will be joining the Avetts for this week’s 2020-21 New Year’s Eve show.

In addition to the stellar lineup, the broadcast will be hosted by actor Dax Shepard and feature appearances by famed producer/director Judd Apatow and NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson.

The livestream show kicks off at 8 p.m. on December 31 and can be accessed through the live concert platform nugs.tv. Tickets start at $39.99. Check out the full lineup here
