Beninese-born Nigerian Afropop/R&B singer-songwriter Ayra Starr has announced her first headlining tour, coming to Charlotte on September 6. The model turned recording artist released her debut self-titled EP in January of 2021, and her debut studio album, 19 & Dangerous, in August of the same year. Her hit single “Rush” from the album reached over 100 Million views, making her the youngest African female artist to reach that feat on a single YouTube video. Starr also recently contributed to the Creed III soundtrack executive produced by Dreamville.
Pre-sale starts Wednesday, July 12 at 10 a.m. (code: MOBSTARRS). Tickets go on sale to the public starting Friday, July 14 at 10 a.m.
