The Charlotte Hornets have unveiled their full 2025-26 season schedule with a cool anime-inspired video. The regular season tips off at home on Wednesday, October 22, against the Brooklyn Nets, giving fans their first chance to experience the newly renovated Spectrum Center. The upgrades include a redesigned concourse, enhanced food and beverage zones, themed North and South Districts, expanded lower-bowl seating, modernized restrooms, a reimagined Founders Level, and improved back-of-house facilities.

The home slate is packed with marquee matchups, including Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, November 1; LeBron James and Luka Dončić with the L.A. Lakers on Monday, November 10; reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, November 15; Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks on Wednesday, November 26, and again on Thursday, March 26; Nikola Jokić and the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, December 7; Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday, December 29; Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, December 31; Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, January 31; Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets on Thursday, February 19; and No. 1 overall draft pick Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, March 3.

The Hornets will have their longest homestand of the season (a seven-game stretch) from Monday, March 17, through Saturday, March 29, highlighted by consecutive Eastern Conference battles with the Knicks, 76ers, and Celtics. Their longest road trip spans five games from Saturday, January 10, through Sunday, January 18. Overall, Charlotte will host 17 weekend games and play 16 back-to-back sets, including six consecutive home double-headers.

Earlier this week, the Hornets also released their five-game preseason schedule, which includes two “home” games outside Charlotte: Sunday, October 5, against the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder in North Charleston, South Carolina, and Wednesday, October 15, against the Memphis Grizzlies in Greensboro, North Carolina. The team will also travel to Oklahoma City on Thursday, October 9; Dallas on Saturday, October 11; and New York on Friday, October 17.

The Hornets’ Emirates NBA Cup 2025 Group Play schedule begins on Friday, November 7, at Miami and continues on Friday, November 14, in Milwaukee, before returning home to face the Knicks on Wednesday, November 26, and the Bulls on Friday, November 28.

Charlotte will appear in three nationally televised games this season: Monday, December 22, at Cleveland (Peacock); Wednesday, January 21, versus Cleveland (ESPN); and Saturday, January 31, versus San Antonio (Prime). Play-by-play announcer Eric Collins and color analyst Dell Curry — recently added to Amazon Prime Video’s national NBA broadcast team — will continue to call most Hornets games locally on FanDuel Sports Network Southeast.

The Hornets enter the season riding momentum from their first-ever NBA Summer League championship, finishing with a perfect 6-0 record capped by an 83-78 win over the Sacramento Kings. Rookie Kon Knueppel earned Summer League Final MVP honors after averaging 15.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. In the 2025 NBA Draft, Charlotte emphasized perimeter shooting and defense, selecting Knueppel, Liam McNeeley, Sion James, and Ryan Kalkbrenner.

Single-game tickets go on sale to the general public on Saturday, August 16, at 10 a.m. Hive Society Memberships, including Purple and Teal Half-Season Plans, are available now.
