CLTure, in partnership with the Knothole Foundation, Truliant Federal Credit Union, SportsLink, WeGo Golf, Charlotte Knights, and Carolinas Asian American Chamber of Commerce, will bring the inaugural Charlotte Sandlot Festival to The Stick Williams Dream Fields on Saturday, September 19.
The family- and dog-friendly festival will take over all three baseball fields at The Stick for a full day of sports, games, food, and activities for all ages.
Attendees can participate in an open Home Run Derby sponsored by Truliant Federal Credit Union and enjoy three golf simulators by WeGo Golf, with a chance to win a newly refurbished golf cart from Carolina Golf Cars.
The festival will also feature a speed-pitch activation by the Charlotte Knights, inflatable games, a sports card and collectibles showcase by SportsWax Promotions, a video game zone by The Gaming Lounge, a sports vintage pop-up by Standout Vintage, a sneaker customization station by Kicks & Fros, and a custom hat bar by The Lunch Line.
Families can also enjoy arts and crafts, face painting, caricatures by Shin Wakabayashi, balloon art, a baseball card photo booth by My Brother’s Keeper, and live screen printing by MacFly Fresh Printing Co.
Special appearances will include Hornets NBA 2025-26 Hustle Award winner Moussa Diabaté, App State legend and College Football Hall of Famer Armanti Edwards, Sir Purr, Homer, and more guests to be announced.
Charlotte Sandlot Festival will also feature a diverse range of food vendors, including Don’s Jamaican Kitchen, B&K Tea Cafe, Kuya Bear, Station 2 Food Truck, Yeller Ice Cream, Dumpling Girls, Waffle Snacks World, Kabuto Food Truck, Funnel It Up (Funnel Cakes), Canal Coffee, Neelia’s Bakery, Jeremiah’s Ice, and more!
Tickets are $7 through Eventbrite with proceeds from Charlotte Sandlot Festival benefiting the Knothole Foundation, a local nonprofit that provides access and opportunities for underserved youth through baseball, softball, academic support, and life-skills development.
