Following September’s CLTure Day + Night Market in partnership with Blumenthal Arts — which drew thousands to The Iron District — we’re proud to present the New Moon Festival, taking over the 32,000-square-foot Blume Studios and transforming the space into a vibrant market and playground to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

The event will feature a dedicated food truck alley with more than 30 vendors, including Banh Mi Brothers, Chutney Cat, Kuya Bear, Blasian Asian Way, Yak & Yeti (Dumplings), Kabuto on Wheels, Chaat Mahal, VJ’s Chicken Inasal, Don’s Jamaican Kitchen, Oni Stop Rice Ball Shop, YumBai CLT, B&K Tea Cafe, Nguyen’s Noodles & Tea, Tsaocaa, House of Flavors, Beard Papa’s, Tiem Co Tur, Paco’s Street Cart, Sugarcane Co., BuuSo Asian Snacks, Neelia’s (pastries), Waffle Snacks World, Zikr Coffee, and more.
Celebrating the Year of the Fire Horse — a rare Chinese zodiac sign that appears once every 60 years — 2026 embodies innovation, independence, and transformation, inspiring fearless expression, and bold creativity.
In the spirit of the Fire Horse, we welcome all to the New Moon Festival at Blume Studios on Saturday, February 21. This community celebration will bring together a wide range of cultures, creatives, and local businesses through food, music, arts, activities, and performances.
In addition to the expanded food lineup, the festival will also feature Taekwondo demos and lessons from Master Chang’s Martial Arts; activity zones and crafts by Playmore; a video game station by The Gaming Lounge and Exit 3A: The Game; a Charlotte Knights fan shop and activation, Mahjong with Eastside Mahjong; face painting and glitter tattoos by Allie Rose Creative Arts; a pop-up nail salon by NC Nails Esthetics Academy; photo booths by CAACC and CLT Asian Eats; caricatures by Shin; lantern-making with UNCC VSA; a performance by Braxton Bateman (Coltrarians) alongside Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra; and special appearances by Sir Purr and Homer.
The CLTure Day + Night Market is a family-friendly event presented in partnership with Blumenthal Arts, CAACC, Town Brewing Co., and Carolina Golf Cars. The festival takes place at Blume Studios on Saturday, February 21 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., and tickets are $12.49.
