A day after his annual Christmas charity event at Garinger High School, and a surprise performance in Raleigh at Lenovo Center for Rod Wave’s Last Lap Tour, Jonathan Kirk, better known by his rap name, DaBaby, has announced a massive Birthday Bash concert in Charlotte. The first annual Billion Dollar Baby Birthday Bash (announced on his actual birthday) will take place at Spectrum Center on January 22, headlined by 50 Cent, Sexyy Red, Boosie, Moneybagg Yo, and a special set by DaBaby “and friends.”
The lineup will also include fellow North Carolina and South Coast Music Group artist, Toosii, and a reunion with rapper Stunna 4 Vegas, along with Skilla Baby, Rob 49, BigXthaPlug, YTB Fatt, Trap Dickey, and more to be announced. Gillie Da Kid and Wallo from the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, are also billed as the special guest hosts for the event.
The Charlotte native DaBaby, whose albums Kirk and Blame It On Baby both reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts, released his latest project, How TF Is This a Mixtape?, in September. He’s been nominated for eight Grammys including for Best Rap Song (“Suge”) and Record Of The Year (“Rockstar”).
On Saturday, DaBaby hosted his fourth annual Kirk Pole Christmas Giveaway at Garinger High School which saw long lines with thousands of gifts for children in the Charlotte community.
