California experimental noise rock/hip-hop group Death Grips have added several dates to their long-awaited 2023 tour, making three stops in North Carolina: Raleigh on August 11 at The Ritz, Charlotte on August 12 at The Fillmore and Asheville on August 13 at Rabbit Rabbit. This will be the first time the group will perform in Charlotte or Raleigh.
The trio, consisting of Stefan Burnett (vocals, lyrics), Zach Hill (drums, production) and Andy Morin (keyboards), have not toured since 2019 and their latest album, Year of the Snitch, was released in 2018. Death Grips are also scheduled to perform at multiple music festivals this year including Sick New World, Outbreak Fest and Primavera Sound.
Pre-sale starts Thursday, February 9 at 10 a.m. (code: CHORUS) with the public on-sale beginning Friday, February 10 at 10 a.m.
