Between Two Trees, the brainchild of singer-songwriter and musician Gabriel Keenan Horn, is an emo band from Charlotte that is quickly making a name for themselves with their high-energy, nostalgia-driven, video game-themed sets. Armed with a Nintendo Wii and a CRT TV, the band delivers emotionally charged shows paired with precisely timed lyric videos that engage their audiences. They are gearing up for the release of their debut album, softlock picking, which drops on Friday, March 28. They’ll also be giving away a cool prize pack to one lucky ticket purchaser that includes a Nintendo Wii, hoodies, softlock picking CDs, a Blankstate t-shirt, stickers, a setlist, and Pokémon cards.
Blankstate. is an indie alternative band consisting of members Jasper Juarez (guitar, vocals), Sam Grout (bass) and Seth Brown (drums). The band released their latest EP, Lotus, in October, which followed their debut full-length album, The World is Not Kind to These Things, in 2022.
