Following the release of his fourth studio album (his first since 2020’s Anniversary) R&B/hip-hop singer-songwriter Bryson Tiller returns to Charlotte to headline Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre this week accompanied by DJ Nitrane (opening set). Tiller, a Louisville, Kentucky native, first garnered mainstream recognition with his 2015 single, “Don’t,” reaching No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. Signing to RCA Records in the same year, he released his debut studio album, Trapsoul, which was certified triple platinum.

His second studio album in 2017, True to Self, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and his third album in 2020, Anniversary, also landed in the top ten. Tiller’s self-titled fourth studio album, released on April 5, has garnered praise moving seamlessly between R&B, pop, trap, neo-soul, and hip-hop, with production from the likes of Charlie Heat, HeyMicki, and Vinylz, featuring Victoria Monet on the track, “Persuasian.”
