Donna the Buffalo is a roots rock/Americana band from Trumansburg, New York, known for blending folk, reggae, country, rock, zydeco, and Cajun influences into their sound. Originally formed in 1989, the band currently consists of singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Tara Nevins and Jeb Puryear with Chris English (drums), David McCracken (keyboard, organ), and Ted Pecchio (bass). The band also founded Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival, which takes place biannually in Pittsboro, North Carolina.
