English psychedelic pop band Glass Animals will play their rescheduled show in Charlotte on Thursday night, following last week’s postponement. Led by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dave Bayley, the group released a new album, I Love You So F***ing Much, on July 19, and are best known for their hits songs “Heat Waves” and “Gooey.” Their 2020 album, Dreamland, earned them a Grammy-nomination for Best New Artist, and “Heat Waves” is the longest charting song (91 weeks) on the Billboard Hot 100, surpassing “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd.
Kevin Abstract, the rapper, singer and producer best known as a founding member of alternative hip-hop group, Brockhampton (disbanded in 2022), released his rock-influenced fourth solo album, Blanket, on November 3.
