Super Abari Game Bar and Black Sheep Skate Shop are teaming up to raise funds for Charlotte Skate Foundation and Kilborne DIY. The skate park built in 2023, repurposed the tennis courts inside of Kilborne Park, nearby the former Eastland DIY site. The funds raised will help maintain the park and pay for materials needed to expand.
The raffle benefitting Charlotte Skate Foundation and Kilborne DIY will include some cool items including an Xbox Series S, gear from Black Sheep Skate Shop, a Monster Energy mini fridge, and more (see full list below). The Go Skate Day pre-party will feature performances by Charlotte post-hardcore rockers Mindvac and new Queen City punk band Gluetrap, who will also be shooting a music video. King Of Fire Pizza will be on site selling food and there will be plenty of drink specials at the bar.
