Renowned Canadian jazz trumpeter and singer-songwriter Bria Skonberg and her quartet will make their Jazz Room debut in November. Skonberg won the prestigious Juno Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year, for her 2016 album, Bria. Dubbed as “the shining hope of hot jazz” by the New York Times, Skonberg has performed on stages and festivals worldwide including New Orleans Jazz & Heritage, Kobe, Monterey, Breda, Newport, and Montreal Jazz, collaborating with artists such as Jon Batiste, Wycliffe Gordon, Stephane Wrembel, Steven Bernstein and U2.

The Jazz Room, JazzArts Charlotte’s monthly concert series, provides a casual and intimate setting with cabaret tables and a full bar, reminiscent of the classic jazz rooms of yesteryear.
