Nu-metal pioneers, Korn, will celebrate their 30th anniversary with a tour stop in Charlotte this week. The Bakersfield, California band formed in 1993 gained national acclaim with their 1994 self-titled debut album, going on to sell over 40 million albums worldwide, and winning two Grammy Awards (“Freak on a Leash” and “Here to Stay”).
Gojira is a French heavy metal band consisting of members Joe Duplantier (vocals, guitar), Mario Duplantier (drums), Christian Andreu (guitar), and Jean-Michel Labadie (bass). They have released seven studio albums and are the first French band to top the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart, receiving Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album (Magma) and Best Metal Performance for the singles “Silvera” and “Amazonia.”
Spiritbox is a Canadian heavy metal band, formed in 2017 by vocalist Courtney LaPlante and guitarist Mike Stringer. The band released their latest EP, The Fear of Fear, in November.
