Kurt Vile is an indie rock singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has released eight solo albums and several EPs with his band, the Violators. The former founding member of Philadelphia rock band, The War on Drugs, Vile also collaborated with Courtney Barnett for the 2017 album, Lotta Sea Lice. Known for his distinct brand of lo-fi folk-rock with psychedelic tones and laid-back vocal style, Vile released a new EP, Back to Moon Beach, in November through Verve Records.
Emily Robb is a Philadelphia-based guitarist known for her involvement in the underground rock and experimental scenes for over a decade. Robb released her debut solo album, How To Moonwalk, in 2021, and follow-up, If I Am Misery Then Give Me Affection, in October, both of which are mainly guitar-driven, lo-fi experimental projects.
