M. Ward is an indie-folk/Americana singer-songwriter and guitarist from Glendale, California, who signed with North Carolina’s Merge Records in 1999. He is well known as a member of the indie pop duo She & Him with actor Zooey Deschanel and folk-rock supergroup Monsters of Folk with Jim James (My Morning Jacket), Conor Oberst, and Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes). In June 2023, Ward released his 12th solo album, Supernatural Thing, through ANTI- Records.
Folk Bitch Trio is a Melbourne indie-folk band consisting of members Heide Peverelle, Jeanie Pilkington, and Gracie Sinclair.
