Mad Monster Party Carolina, the annual horror and pop culture convention in Concord, returns to Embassy Suites this weekend. The event will bring together fans, actors, and vendors from the horror, sci-fi, and fantasy genres for a weekend of panels, meet-and-greets, photo ops, autograph sessions, cosplay, and shopping.
This year’s convention will feature appearances by Meagan Good (Saturday only), Jonathan Majors (Saturday and Sunday), Billy Zane, Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger), D-Von Dudley (WWE), Mira Sorvino, Fiona Dourif (True Blood), and more. The three-day event will also include costume contests, Q&A sessions, and trivia.
Single day passes for the three-day event start at $35 and weekend passes are $80, but will increase to $90 (at the door) when online sales end Wednesday, February 19 at 11:59 p.m. Tickets and passes are still available online through TickPick.

Sunday, February 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
