Best known for their hits “Story of My Life” and “Ball and Chain,” California punk rock band Social Distortion will perform at The Fillmore in Charlotte this week. The band recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of their 1983 debut album, Mommy’s Little Monster, and are expected to release their first new album since 2011’s Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes, in the coming year.

The BellRays are a rock band from Riverside, California, consisting of vocalist Lisa Kekaula and guitarist Bob Vennum. The band released a new album, Heavy Steady Go!, on August 30.
