Winston-Salem native and Charlotte-based South Coast Music Group artist, TiaCorine has announced her first national headlining tour, coming to Charlotte on March 14. Tia Corine Shults, a graduate of R.J. Reynolds High School and Winston-Salem State University, rose to prominence in 2018 with the single, “Lotto,” from her debut project, 34Corine (released in 2020).
Following the success of her viral hit, “FreakyT,” she was named one of 12 artists in XXL’s Freshman Class in 2023, performing at Lollapalooza, Rolling Loud, and North Carolina’s Hopscotch Music Festival in the same year. TiaCorine released her latest studio album, I Can’t Wait, in 2022, and her major label debut EP, Almost There, on February 2 through Interscope Records. She’ll be joined by rising Memphis rapper A.R. The Mermaid as an opening act.
