Following the release of his new album, American Dream, in January, 21 Savage has announced a 30-date tour with Dreamville’s J.I.D. The tour will kick off in May and make a stop in Charlotte at PNC Music Pavilion on June 6.

Atlanta rapper J.I.D who came up from the Spillage Village collective, signing with Dreamville in 2017, last performed in Charlotte with Smino for their co-headlining Luv is 4Ever Tour in February 2023. His 2022 album, The Forever Story, was met with critical acclaim and praise, featuring EarthGang, 21 Savage, Baby Tate, Lil Durk, Ari Lennox, Yasiin Bey, Lil Wayne, and Ravyn Lenae. J.I.D is also expected to release his fourth studio album, Forever & A Day, later this year.

21 Savage is coming off his tour with Drake following their 2022 collaborative album, Her Loss, which saw a stop in Charlotte back in September at Spectrum Center. American Dream is his third solo studio album, following 2018’s I Am > I Was.

The American Dream Tour will also feature Florida rapper Nardo Wick and fellow Atlanta rapper 21 Lil Harold, who is signed to 21 Savage’s label, Slaughter Gang.
