FloydFest, the annual music and arts festival that takes place in Southern Virginia, has announced the initial lineup for their 2023 festival July 26-30, 2023, at a new 200-plus acre property located on the east side of U.S. 221, between Bent Mountain and the town of Floyd. The 2023 lineup will be headlined by The Black Crowes, My Morning Jacket, Sheryl Crow, and Goose in addition to Elle King, Shooter Jennings and Yelawolf (performing their collaborative project Sometimes Y), Nikki Lane, Ian Noe, and more, rounding out the initial announcement.
“For this year’s program, I wanted to ensure that the quality FloydFest is known for remains true and endearing to the thousands who flock to our unforgettable experience on the mountain,” said Kris Hodges, founder of FloydFest. “Our new location and next level experience will be sure to tantalize all senses and awaken the spirit in all who attend.”
FloydFest will continue to offer a variety of food and beverage vendors along with outdoor activities, workshops, camping, children’s activities, and onsite art installations in addition to the final lineup that will feature nearly 100 artists performing on six stages over the five-day festival.
“Our endgame has always been to become the gold standard example of a ‘boutique’ festival, and now, with a new home, and with the stated goal to park and camp each and every patron on one site– eradicating the need for offsite lots and offsite shuttles– our dream is manifesting into reality,” said Sam Calhoun, chief operating officer of FloydFest.
The second round of lineup additions is set for November 15, 2022 with more to follow over the next six months. Tickets for FloydFest 2023 will be available today (November 1) at 12 p.m. through the new and improved FloydFest website.
