Tyler Childers has announced four stops in the Carolinas for his 2023 tour

Country-folk singer-songwriter and musician Tyler Childers has announced four Carolina stops in 2023 with his longtime band, The Food Stamps. The “Send in the Hounds Tour” will kick off April 14 in New Orleans and come through the Carolinas with dates in Raleigh (August 13 at Red Hat), Charlotte (August 15 + 16 at Charlotte Metro), Wilmington (August 18 at Live Oak Bank Pavilion), and Charleston (August 19 at Credit One Stadium). All of the Carolina shows will include Kentucky singer-songwriter S.G. Goodman as an opener with Abby Hamilton joining the Charleston and Wilmington dates. Additional tour legs will feature Charley Crockett, Marcus King, Drive-By Truckers, Margo Price, Wayne Graham, Elle King, John R. Miller, and Miles Miller.

Childers released his latest album, Can I Take My Hounds to Heaven?, on September 30, 2022 through Hickman Holler / RCA marking his first top 10 album on the Billboard 200. The album is the first new music from Childers since 2020’s Grammy-nominated surprise release, Long Violent History. 

Tickets will be available for pre-sale starting Wednesday, November 16 at 9:00 a.m. (local time) with general on-sale on Friday, November 18 at 9:00 a.m. (local time).
