English psychedelic pop-rock band Glass Animals have announced a 41-city world tour that will kick off in Charlotte. Led by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dave Bayley, Glass Animals will start their 2024 tour on August 7 at PNC Music Pavilion, also making a stop in Raleigh on August 16 at Coastal Credit Union Music Park. The two dates in North Carolina will feature Kevin Abstract (formerly of Brockhampton) as an opening act.
Best known for their hits songs “Heat Waves” and “Gooey,” Glass Animals dropped a new single, “Creatures In Heaven” this month along with the date for their highly anticipated new album, I Love You So F***ing Much, scheduled to be released on July 19. Glass Animals are coming off their Grammy-nominated (Best New Artist) third studio album, Dreamland, in 2020.
Kevin Abstract, the rapper/singer and producer best known as a founding member of alternative hip-hop group, Brockhampton (disbanded in 2022), released his rock-influenced fourth solo album, Blanket, on November 3.
The artist presale will start on Tuesday, April 9 at 10 a.m. and tickets will go on sale to the public on Thursday, April 11 at 10 a.m.
