Denzel Curry has dropped a new single, “Hot One,” featuring North Carolina native TiaCorine and A$AP Ferg, from his upcoming mixtape, King of the Mischievous South Vol. 2, set to be released July 19. The track, produced by Australian production duo FNZ and Miami-based beatmaker SkipOnDaBeat, is already going viral after the trio performed the song on the YouTube channel, On The Radar Radio.
Winston-Salem native, TiaCorine, released a new EP, Almost There, through Charlotte-based South Coast Music Group and Interscope Records in February, embarking on her first national headlining tour earlier this year. Tia Corine Shultz, a graduate of R.J. Reynolds High School and Winston-Salem State University, rose to prominence in 2018 with the single, “Lotto,” from her debut project, 34Corine (released in 2020). Following the success of her viral hit, “FreakyT,” she was named one of 12 artists in XXL’s Freshman Class in 2023, and has performed at Lollapalooza, Rolling Loud, Hopscotch, and Dreamville Fest.
