Kanye West has announced his release party event for the highly anticipated Donda 2 album will stream live exclusively in IMAX in 15 cities nationwide. Taking place on Tuesday, February 22 at 9:00 p.m. EST in Miami, the performance and listening party will be shown in Charlotte at Regal Stonecrest in Piper Glen. This “one-of-a-kind Donda experience” will be the first-ever performance of Donda 2, according to the press release.
“Kanye is one of the most ambitious and groundbreaking artists of our time, and we are grateful for the opportunity to again share his genius with his loyal fans across the country,” said Megan Colligan, President of IMAX Entertainment.
The concert follows December’s Kanye West and Drake performance at the LA Coliseum, which was the first live concert broadcast across IMAX theaters in the U.S. and Canada.
